About the job
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive coordinator to plan and implement training workshops and related events. The role includes participant outreach and registration, logistics and material preparation, coordination with trainers and partners, on-site management, and documentation and reporting. The coordinator will also support partnership arrangements and maintain records of participants and collaborators.
Key Result Areas
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Workshop Planning & Coordination: Manage end-to-end organization of workshops, including outreach and participant selection, artisan registration, scheduling, material and venue preparation, and on-site coordination.
Event Management: Organize and coordinate workshop-related events and showcases, including logistics planning, participant management, vendor coordination, and on-site supervision.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with trainers, artisans, suppliers, partners, and project team members to ensure smooth implementation of activities.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare periodic progress reports, document workshop processes and outcomes (attendance, feedback, photos, lessons learned), and maintain an updated database of participants, partners, and collaborators.
Administrative Support: Support the preparation of MOUs, partnership agreements, and collaboration proposals, and ensure proper filing of project documents.
Resource & Logistics Management: Track workshop materials, equipment needs, and related expenses.
Requirements
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Arts Management, Development Studies, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in event coordination, workshop management, community projects, or cultural initiatives.
Experience working with artisans, NGOs, or development projects is a strong asset.
Experience:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience in logistics planning and event coordination.
Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation.
Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
