Takween ICD is seeking a reliable and well-spoken Moderator to support our online presence and manage customer interactions across digital platforms.

Key Result Areas

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer reviews and messages on Google Reviews, Facebook, and Instagram in a timely and professional manner in Arabic and English

  • Moderate comments and inquiries, ensuring respectful and accurate communication

  • Manage incoming orders and coordinate basic order follow-ups

  • Prepare simple order and interaction reports on a regular basis

  • Prepare simple weekly reports on messages, inquiries, orders, and engagement trends

  • Engage with followers by liking comments, replying thoughtfully, and encouraging interaction and repost customer content (when available) and help strengthen the brand community

  • Monitor customer feedback, questions, and common requests, and share insights with the team

  • Support social media content by suggesting post ideas based on customer questions, trends, and engagement insights

  • Assist in drafting short captions, story text, or responses aligned with Karoot’s brand tone when needed

Requirements

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management, moderation, customer service digital content creation, or social media marketing.

Experience:

  • Professional and friendly written communication skills in Arabic and English

  • Strong attention to detail and customer-oriented attitude

  • Organized and able to manage tasks independently

  • Proven ability to write, design, and produce high-quality digital content.

  • Experience using social media platforms for brand building and engagement.

  • Familiarity with artisan, design, or heritage-focused projects is a strong advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills in Arabic and English.

  • Strong visual skills (photography, video capture, editing) is a plus

Office Location:

  • The Social Media Moderator will work at the main office in Cairo.
