Takween is looking for a procurement Intern to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be focused on learning and developing career within this sector.

Key Result Areas

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with day to day operations of procurement functions and duties.

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to procurement.

  • Dealing with an efficient filing system both hard copy and on the internal system.

  • Ask questions and make notes on procurement best practices and procedures and implement them into the work you do.

  • Assistance in archiving and updating procurement records (hard and electronic copies).

Confidentiality and a Record of Right

  • All information and papers that the trainee accesses, deals with, produces, or shares in the framework of this assignment will be the sole property of Takween-ICD, and is subject to the rules and regulations of Takween. The trainee will maintain a high level of confidentiality with all parties, individuals, or external stakeholders, regarding all written, visual, or audio information, papers, or conversations.

Requirements

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (can be student, not a graduate)

  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Excellent organization ability, some familiarity with procurement and strong communication skills.

  • General knowledge of procurement or keen interest to learn.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve a common goal.

The office in Cairo is in Maadi.
