The Operations Director will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of Takween’s operations, ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, logistics, HR, administration, and asset management. This is not just a managerial role—it’s for someone who rolls up their sleeves, builds systems, empowers teams, and grows with the company.
You will be the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring that operations align with Takween’s mission while fostering a culture of efficiency, accountability, and innovation.
Key Result Areas
Job Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
Develop and implement operational strategies that support company growth and scalability.
Lead, mentor, and empower teams (procurement, HR, logistics, admin) to perform at their highest potential.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.
Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on operational risks, opportunities, and resource allocation.
Procurement & Logistics
Oversee end-to-end procurement, from vendor negotiations to delivery, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
Strengthen supplier relationships and maintain a robust procurement pipeline.
Optimize logistics, warehousing, and fleet management for maximum efficiency.
Human Resources (HR)
Payroll & Personnel Management: Ensure accurate payroll, benefits, and contracts.
Performance & Growth:
Partner with HR to design KPIs, annual reviews, and reward systems.
Lead talent development and retention strategies.
Policy & Compliance: Maintain HR policies in line with labor laws.
4. Administration & Office Management
Facilities & IT: Oversee office functionality, maintenance, and tech infrastructure.
Travel & Logistics: Manage staff travel, visas, and event coordination.
Daily Operations: Ensure smooth office workflows (cleanliness, supplies, etc.).
Growth & Scalability
Design systems that scale with the company’s expansion, from urban projects to new markets.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions proactively.
Champion innovation in processes, tools, and team development.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years in operations leadership, with expertise in procurement, logistics, HR, and administration.
Proven track record of building and scaling teams in a growing organization.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Fluent in English & Arabic (written and spoken).
Tech-savvy (Excel, procurement systems, HR tools).
