نحن نبحث عن "منسق حرف يدوية" متحمس وذو مهارات خاصة للانضمام إلى فريقنا لتشغيل ورشة للحرف اليدوية ستنتج منتجات من الأعمال الخشبية عالية الجودة. هذه وظيفة بدوام كامل، وأدوارها الأساسية هي دعم فريقنا في إنشاء ورشة الأعمال الخشبية وإدارة جوانبها التشغيلية، بما في ذلك إنتقاء وشراء المواد الخام، والإشراف على الإنتاج، وضمان مراقبة الجودة لمنتجات مرتبطة بالحفر وتطعيم الخشب. يتطلب هذا من المتقدم للوظيفة فهماً لتقنيات حفر وتطعيم الخشب، وخبرة في إدارة الإنتاج، وضمان تلبية معايير الجودة.
تقع ورشة الأعمال الخشبية بمدينة إسنا (محافظة الأقصر)، والتي تتحول الآن إلى وجهة سفر فريدة توفر تجارب سياحية متنوعة.
لذا، نحن نبحث عن شخص لديه قدر كبير من مهارات التنظيم والمبادرة، ومعتاد على العمل مع المجتمعات المحلية، ولديه خبرة سابقة في إدارة ورش الإنتاج الحرفي، ومراقبة الجودة والتكاليف.

Key Result Areas

Job Responsibilities:

Handicraft Coordinator Essential Functions.

  • The Handicraft Coordinator reports to the project management for effectively producing specialized. wood carving and inlay works in Esna.

  • Setting up a workshop area in which the women can work in production.

  • Sourcing high-quality materials for wood carving and inlay products.

  • Developing production schedules and ensuring that products are completed on time and within budget.

  • Supervising the production of wood carving and inlay products and managing and coordinating the workloads of the production team.

  • Ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and high standards in the workshop.

  • Conducting quality control inspections to ensure that products meet high-quality standards.

  • Working with the project designers to create new product concepts and provide expert feedback.

  • Supervising operational and administrative aspects (cost control, maintaining inventory records for materials, supplies, tools and equipment, merchandising, staff time tracking, payroll management, etc.).

Requirements

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts, Product Design, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating creative workshops.

Experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience managing procurement processes, including with USAID-funded programs.

  • Experience in managing production schedules and ensuring quality standards are met.

  • Strong understanding of wood carving and inlay techniques is preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently and as part of a team.

  • Creativity, originality, and interest in social entrepreneurship, working with youth and women, and environmental aspects.

  • Experience in competitive procurement of goods and services required.

  • Experience in administration of subcontracts and purchase orders strongly preferred).

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and grants focused on ensuring compliance with established rules and regulations.

Skills:

  • Ability to work hands-on, independently, and within team in difficult work environment.

  • Willingness to frequently travel to provinces and districts covered by the project.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Experience using computers and software at work, especially email and MS Word (experience with MS Excel is desired).

Work Location:

  • The Handicraft Coordinator will work in Esna City (Luxor Governorate) with travel to Cairo as needed, accommodation and transportation are covered.
