Takween ICD is seeking to hire a Graphic Designer/Illustrator to work simultaneously on its various ongoing projects. The Graphic Designer/Illustrator must be creative and able to communicate ideas visually. He/ She must have an eye for detail and color and be able to adapt an aesthetic sense to the target audience.
Key Result Areas
A Graphic Designer/Illustrator skilled in drawing, painting, digital illustration, art history, branding and marketing.
Create a visual representation of an idea or associated text;
Responsible for design and producing all projects' publications such as booklets, reports, brochures, posters, illustrations, logo design, sketches, and visuals;
Design murals, art and street art activities;
Information panels and different types of signage;
Branding and Identity for the selected sites/projects;
Creates professional designs and layouts for promotional materials including handouts, advertisements, posters, signs, logos, and other visual layouts;
Manage production and printing for all the above.
Requirements
Skills
Work on multitasks at the same time using a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design.
Knowledge of graphic animation and video editing.
Knowledge of photography and photography editing.
Assist in copywriting as necessary and perform typesetting for forms and publications.
Knowledge of current trends in same field by conducting the necessary research.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCES
Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Art, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.
Able to work on Adobe Creative Suite: (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premier, AutoCAD, Sony Vegas, Flash, Adobe acrobat professional.)
Html editing.
Fluent in Arabic & English (Desirable).
Detail oriented, flexible, self-motivated and meeting deadlines.
Architecture or Urban Planning background is a plus
