We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Coordinator of Promotional Events and Materials. This role is pivotal in orchestrating promotional activities, including events and multimedia materials, to enhance the visibility and impact of our heritage projects within the art and culture community. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for innovative storytelling.
Key Result Areas
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and execute promotional events, with a particular focus on art and cultural heritage, including events held at heritage sites.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop event concepts, themes, and strategies that celebrate and highlight cultural heritage.
Assist in developing partnerships with individuals and organizations working in the art and culture field, fostering collaborations that amplify the impact of our projects. This includes forging relationships with photography clubs, performing artists, art schools, galleries, and other relevant partners.
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, budget management, procurement, vendor negotiations, and scheduling.
Develop compelling promotional materials, including videos, flyers, and social media content, to engage our audience and attract participants.
Create outlines for promotional videos, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and messaging, while also capturing the essence of cultural heritage, suitable for presentation at heritage sites.
Generate creative ideas and scenarios for events and videos, incorporating elements of cultural heritage and historical significance.
Evaluate the success of promotional efforts through analysis and feedback collection, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Art, or related field.
Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and execution, preferably with a background in heritage preservation or promotion.
Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, particularly in the context of heritage storytelling.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for exploring new ideas and approaches, while also honoring cultural heritage.
Knowledge of art and cultural heritage trends, as well as experience working with diverse communities, is highly desirable.
Experience:
- 2-5 years in events planning.
